Arizona State University-Tempe has topped the Top 25 Online Master’s in Construction Management degrees ranking, released by Online Schools Report.

Degree programs were ranked on the basis of seven factors including the quality of the online programs, student satisfaction, online presence, affordability and earnings potential, acceptance rates, and retention rates.

The online MS in Construction Management offered by Arizona State University-Tempe came in first for its retention, earning potential and student satisfaction rates. The program is also one of the most affordable in the nation, costing $26,118 to in-state students and $42,698 to out-of-state students.

Looking ahead, the Bureau of Labor Statistics has projected 11.1 percent employment growth for construction managers between 2016 and 2026, increasing the value and demand for a degree in this field.

Louisiana State University and Agricultural & Mechanical College came in second in the ranking. Enrolled students are able to complete the degree program within two years, and a Post-Baccalaureate certificate in Construction is an available addition to the degree.

The University of Southern California ranked third for offering an online degree that represents a collaboration between five different schools within USC. The program places a particular emphasis on the real estate development sector, and can be completed either full or part time.

“Online classes are flexible and can fit around even the strangest work schedules,” the website said in a statement.

“As it prepares professionals for upper management-level careers, the earning potential for those with a Master’s degree in Construction Management is high,” authors of the report added.
