Fort Hays State University Offers Best Early Childhood Program [Ranking]

Kansas-based Fort Hays State University is the best online college in the country when it comes to studying early childhood education, according to a new report.

The university’s Early Childhood Education program, which is designed for students who want to teach young children with special needs, has been ranked  the best in the country for 2019 by the Online Schools Report website.

The program is one of the most affordable in the nation, costing $17,831 to in-state students and $27,654 to out-of-state students. Participants are also required to complete an internship and student teaching experience to qualify for the degree.

The website ranked the top 35 best colleges by taking into account the quality of their online programs, student satisfaction, online presence, affordability and earnings potential, acceptance rates, and retention rates.

Florida International University came in second in the ranking. The school assigns a personal student success coach to each participant to help guide them along their degree pathways.

The University of Toledo ranked third, offering an online bachelor’s that is specifically designed for students seeking a comprehensive, research-based education.

The other seven institutions that made the top 10 best online schools, in order of rank, are Granite State College, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Kansas State University, California Baptist University, Ball State University, National University and The University of Alabama.
