Johns Hopkins University Online PhD in Education Ranks Best

Johns Hopkins University has been named the top higher education institution representing the Best Online Schools for Doctoral Degrees in Education Programs.

The schools’ list, released by website Online-PhD-Degrees.com, ranked twenty online institutes across the country providing best Ph.D. degrees in education.

Johns Hopkins grabbed the top spot for the nature and quality of the curriculum, sufficient retention rates, and putting its students in touch with a network of peers and professionals through real-world experiences. The university has an acceptance rate of 11.4 percent and retention rate of 97 percent.

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln has ranked second. It has an acceptance rate of 23 percent and retention rate of 83.6 percent.

“A Doctor of Education degree is an incredibly respectable line of work. The world is in constant need of compassionate and motivated instructors and teachers who can help others achieve their dreams in various fields and disciplines,” lead researcher and writer Rowan Jones said.

The other five institutions that figured in the top 20 best online schools are the University of the Cumberlands, New Mexico State University, University of Arkansas, University of Florida and Liberty University.
