The University of Portland’s innovative student engagement program has been recognized by Campus Labs.

During its annual awards program, the company that makes use of analytics and data to transform higher education awarded the university for using its platform to enhance student experiences and administrative processes.

The university was praised for implementing the Campus Labs tool showing sustainable development within its first year. It received applause for implementing Engage, that keeps students up to date on campus related events and allows the University to “connect students to meaningful and guided opportunities, easily manage and track their involvement, and showcase your impact on the student experience.”

“We are honored to be recognized in this way.  It truly has been an example of what is possible when Student Affairs and Academic Affairs collaborate and work together,” said Jeromy Koffler, Director of Student Activities.

“And we have yet to unlock the full potential of Engage, so I anticipate seeing more and more use of the platform in the days to come.”

Founded in 2001, Campus Labs provides colleges and universities with a platform for unified information, gaining valuable insights and making better, actionable decisions and lets the institutions make valuable connections with their data. More than 1,400 institutions are currently partnering with the company.
