Last week, two professors who teach Chemistry at a university in Arkadelphia, Arkansas were arrested for making methamphetamine in the school lab, the New York Times reported.
Henderson State University professors Terry D. Bateman and Bradley A. Rowland were also accused of using drug paraphernalia.
According to the statement from the school, its Reynolds Science Center had been closed last month after students reported a chemical odor. The center was reopened on October 29 after a company filtered air and removed some windows.

Both of the professors were placed on administrative leave on October 11.
According to university spokeswoman Tina Hal, the school officials are currently investigating the matter.
The arrest of both the professors drew comparisons to crime drama television series Breaking Bad who collaborates with his former student to produce and sell crystallized methamphetamine.
