Penn State University to Organize Study Abroad Week Beginning Jan. 14

-

Pennsylvania State University is organizing a Study Abroad Week for its students from January 14 to 18.

Taking place at Penn’s largest campus, University Park, activities throughout the week will help students understand the planning and procedures involved in studying abroad.

“With the summer and fall 2019 study abroad application deadlines quickly approaching — Feb. 1 and March 1, respectively — this is the perfect opportunity for students to plan their experience,” reads the university release.

The week will feature information sessions and workshops on various topics including funding terms abroad and career enhancement opportunities for different majors offered by universities across the world.

Last year in October, the university organized an Education Abroad Fair by collaborating with 50 study abroad partners, scholarship sources, academic colleges and support offices.
