Bellevue University Offers Most Affordable Cybersecurity Degree

Nebraska based Bellevue University offers the most affordable online bachelor’s cybersecurity degree program in the country, according to a new Bachelor’s Degree Center ranking report.

The B.S. in Cybersecurity offered by the university is the most cost-friendly program in the nation. It provides 127 credits that teaches students network and system protection, commuter programming, and how to prevent unauthorized users from infiltrating security systems.

The program is accredited by the NSA and the Department of Homeland Security.

Peirce College BS in IT Networking, Administration, and Information Security ranked second for its affordable. It trains students how to design, implement, and integrate either hardware or software that is critical to the success and protection of businesses.

Western Governor’s University BS in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance ranked third. The school’s online curriculum offers students with knowledge of IT foundations, security systems and design, and managing web security.

“For those who are interested in computer science, cybersecurity could be a rewarding career not only for today, but especially for the future. For working professionals in the field, getting a bachelor’s in cybersecurity may be key to advancement,” BDC editors said in a release.

The other seven schools that figured in the top ten list are Grantham University, the University of Illinois at Springfield, Purdue University Global, University of Maryland Global Campus, Oklahoma State University, Wilmington University and Old Dominion University.
