Lincoln University Bonds Out Arrested Students for Final Game

-

Seven members of Lincoln University basketball team were arrested on Tuesday over a weekend altercation, which included a charge of committing a robbery, ABC6 reported.

According to reports, the incident took place on campus, days before the final game on Wednesday night.

Pennsylvania court records have identified the athletes who have been arrested as Tamir Green, Gevon Arrington, Zahrion Blue, Maurice Waters, Myles Markland, Martin Kinsley, and Bernard Lightsey.

Meanwhile, while acting in damage control mode and to ensure the game goes according to schedule, the university posted bond for all the athletes on Wednesday night.

In response to alleged thefts among students, an altercation occurred. The group included athletes and a non-athlete. The students chose to press charges against each other. The university will continue to work its due process procedures as well as work with local authorities,” the university said in a statement.
