To make college education accessible and affordable, the Northern Vermont University has awarded scholarships to more than 110 students enrolled in various degree programs.
The university awarded 140 scholarships for the 2018-19 academic year from 45 endowed funds during a recent campus social hosted by President Elaine Collins.
“These awards matter to our students. Quite often these scholarships make the difference for our students between continuing and completing their degrees or not,” Executive Director of Institutional Advancement Jenny Harris said.
The event was attended by many individual and corporate fund donors who appreciated the students for their commitment to studies.
