Princeton Economics Professor Wins 2017 Bernácer Prize

-

A Princeton University professor has won the 2017 Bernácer Prize for his contributions in finance and macroeconomics.

Observatorio del Banco Central Europeo (OBCE) shortlisted Benjamin Moll, a native of Germany and professor of economics and international affairs, for the award recognizing the work of young economists from the European Union.

A European non-profit association of economists focused on the European Central Bank, OBCE aims to improve the quality of economic policy by promoting public debate on Eurozone economic issues.

Moll has majorly focused his research on the impact of wealth and income disparities on large economies and why some countries are poorer than the others.

He will receive the award with a diploma and cash prize in an award ceremony on November 23.
