Sam Houston State University Named Top Online College

-

Texas-based Sam Houston State University has become the top school for online master’s degree programs, according to a new ranking released by the Best College Reviews, a college ranking website.

The university has been given the top spot among the 25 best online schools for offering master’s degrees in criminal justice, computer information technology, and education.

The ranking, based on the pool of 65 schools, which is then trimmed to 25 schools, takes into account the number of master’s degrees offered, cost of tuition along with other factors.

“Sam Houston State University tops U.S. News & World Report’s ranking of online master’s degrees in criminal justice, and the school ranks among the best schools for online master’s degree programs in computer information technology and education as well,” the Best College Review report says.

“Specific offerings include an MS in Criminal Justice Leadership and Management, MA in Higher Education Administration, MS in Victim Services Management, and MA in Communication Studies, for instance. It’s important to note that some of Sam Houston State’s online master’s degrees do require minimal campus visits.”

The in-state tuition fee for students is $5,391.

Other online schools that made it in the Best College Review top five list include, in order of rank, North Carolina State University, Arizona State University, Auburn University and the University of Wisconsin.
