Health Admin Degree by Texas Woman’s University is Most Affordable in US

Texas Woman’s University online Masters in Health Administration has ranked one of the most affordable degrees across the nation, according to a new ranking list by the Best Health Degrees website.

The University offers the online degree with an emphasis on business analytics focuses on giving students the skills they need to work in healthcare organizations. More than 70 percent of its faculty and staff are women.

The website ranked schools on the basis of their tuition rate as reported to the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS).

Montana State University’s master’s program ranked second for its lower tuition cost. Its health administration degree helps develop leaders in the field with a focus on rural-frontier healthcare delivery. The school also offers various assistantships, scholarships, and extensive internship opportunities.

“Professionals in healthcare administration are in high demand,” BHD said in a release.

“With unprecedented need for leadership in medicine, colleges and learning institutions of every kind have an interest in catering to those who seek a degree through healthcare administration masters programs.”

The three other institutions that offer the most affordable online degrees, in order of rank, are Texas Tech University Health Sciences, Texas State University and the University of Central Florida.
